Att komma till Sverige från Ukraina

Du som kommer till Sverige från Ukraina kan stanna upp till 90 dagar utan visum om du har ett biometriskt pass. Men för att vuxna ska kunna arbeta och barn gå i skolan behöver du söka tillstånd hos Migrationsverket. Flyktingar från Ukraina har möjlighet att ansöka om tillfälligt uppehållstillstånd enligt EU:s massflyktsdirektiv. Det finns också möjlighet att ansöka om asyl.

Ukrainian citizens who do not have a biometric passport have the right to enter and stay in Sweden for 90 days with a Schengen visa. It is important that you who come to Sweden get in touch with Swedish authorities if you want to take part in society's support. You may be entitled to a residence permit with temporary protection in Sweden under the EU’s Temporary Protection Directive. After you have received a decision according to the Temporary Protection Directive, you have the possibility to apply for asylum in Sweden according to the ordinary asylum process.

Så ansöker du om skydd enligt massflyktsdirektivet

Du som har flytt från kriget i Ukraina kan ha rätt till uppehållstillstånd med tillfälligt skydd i Sverige enligt EU:s massflyktsdirektiv. Du kan registrera din ansökan direkt via e-tjänst på Migrationsverkets webbplats eller genom att besöka Migrationsverket personligen.

Du som ansöker i e-tjänsten och har ordnat ditt boende på egen hand behöver inte besöka Migrationsverket förrän efter att de fattat beslut. Du som behöver hjälp med boende måste besöka Migrationsverket personligen, men Migrationsverket vill gärna att du gör en ansökan i e-tjänsten innan du kommer så kan de hjälpa dig fortare.

Apply for protection under the Temporary Protection Directive

If you have fled the war in Ukraine, you may be entitled to a residence permit with temporary protection in Sweden under the EU’s Temporary Protection Directive. You can register your application online or by visiting the Swedish Migration Agency in person.

If you apply via the e-service and have made your own housing arrangements, you do not need to visit the Swedish Migration Agency until after they have made a decision. If you need the Swedish Migration Agency’s help with housing you must visit them in person. If you submit an application via the e-service before you visit them, they can help you faster when you arrive.

Hälso- och sjukvård

Alla flyktingar från Ukraina kommer att få rätt till vård, tandvård och läkemedel i Region Kalmar län. Det gäller även om du saknar handlingar eller dokument från Migrationsverket.

Det innebär att du ska erbjudas vård, tandvård och läkemedel som inte kan vänta till en subventionerad patientavgift på högst 50 kronor. För personer över 18 år handlar det också om mödrahälsovård, vård vid abort och preventivmedelsrådgivning.

Barn och unga under 18 år kommer att erbjudas vård och tandvård i samma omfattning som de som är bosatta i regionen.

Region Kalmar läns asyl- och flyktinghälsovård

Healthcare

All who have fled the war in Ukraine have the right to emergency medical care, emergency dental care and care that cannot be postponed through the healthcare service Region Kalmar län. This also applies to you who don’t have documents or papers from the Swedish Migration Agency.

You have the right to obstetric (child-birth) care, abortion care, advice about contraceptives, maternal healthcare, and care under the Infectious Disease Control Act (a law to prevent the spread of infectious diseases). The patient fee is subsidized and a visit costs a maximum of SEK 50.

Children and young people under the age of 18 are entitled to the same healthcare and dental care as other children living in the county.

Förskola och skola för barn

Barn och ungdomar upp till 18 år som registrerat sig hos Migrationsverket har rätt att gå i förskola och skola.

Personer som kommer till kommunen utan att först registrera sig hos Migrationsverket behöver själva kontakta kommunen för att ansöka om skola och barnomsorg.

Preschool and school for children

Children and young people under the age of 18 who have applied for protection under the Temporary Protection Directive are entitled to attend preschool and school.

Those who have not applied for protection under the Temporary Protection Directive have to contact the Municipality of Mönsterås to apply for preeschool and school.

Husdjur från Ukraina

Om ett sällskapsdjur från Ukraina befinner sig i Sverige utan att ha kontrollerats av tullpersonal vid gränsen, ska djuret så fort som möjligt tas till en veterinär. Det är viktigt att kontakta veterinären i förväg, eftersom djuret inte får komma i kontakt med andra djur eller besökare på kliniken.

If an animal from Ukraine is in Sweden without having been checked by customs personnel at the border, the animal must be taken to a veterinarian as soon as possible.
